Test-Plex 300 (Sustanon)
Testosterone is the main endogenous hormone essential for the normal growth and development of male genitalia and male secondary sexual characteristics. Throughout life in adult men, testosterone is essential for the functioning of the testicles and associated structures, as well as for maintaining libido, well-being, erectile potency, and for the function of the prostate gland and seminal vesicles.
Treatment of hypogonadal men with Test-Plex 300 leads to a clinically significant increase in the concentrations of testosterone, dihydrotestosterone, estradiol and androstenedione in the plasma, as well as to a decrease in the level of SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin); LT and FSH levels are restored to normal values.
Treatment with Sustanon (Test-Plex 300) reduces the symptoms of testosterone deficiency. In addition, bone mineral density and muscle mass increase, and obese patients experience a decrease in body weight. During treatment, sexual functions, including erectile function and libido, are normalized. When using the drug, the serum concentrations of HDL, LDL and triglycerides decrease, the concentrations of hemoglobin and hematocrit increase, while there is no clinically significant change in the level of liver enzymes and PSA. The drug can cause an increase in the size of the prostate gland, while functional changes are not noted. In hypogonadal men suffering from diabetes, the use of androgens improves insulin sensitivity and / or reduces the concentration of glucose in the blood plasma.
In boys with growth retardation and puberty, the use of androgens accelerates growth, stimulates the development of secondary sexual characteristics.
Treatment of transsexual women with androgens, as well as with Test-Plex, promotes masculinization.
Test-Plex 300 contains a number of testosterone esters with different duration of action. These esters, once in the circulating blood, are immediately hydrolyzed into the natural hormone testosterone.
How to use Test-Plex
The drug Test-Plex 300 should be administered deep intramuscularly.
Usually the dose is 1 ml once every 3 weeks.
In men testosterone levels return to the lower limit of normal approximately 21 days after administration.
